Emerald Coast Classic Tickets On Sale

Cal will face TCU and Clemson or Iowa at the 2022 Emerald Coast Classic on Nov. 25-26 in Niceville, Florida.

NICEVILLE, Fla. – Tickets for the eighth-annual Emerald Coast Classic college basketball tournament, presented by Global Sports, are officially on sale as of Tuesday morning on the official tournament website www.emeraldcoastclassic.com.
 
Tickets start at $20 per session with each session having two games. The Emerald Coast Classic will be played Thanksgiving weekend Nov. 25-26 at Raider Arena on the campus of Northwest Florida State College. The California men's basketball team will face TCU in a semifinal contest at 6:30 p.m. PT/8:30 p.m. CT on Nov. 25, followed by a matchup with Clemson or Iowa in the championship game or third-place game the following day on Nov. 26.
 
Cal's semifinal game against TCU and the championship contest will be televised nationally on CBS Sports Network.
 
Cal is 2-0 all-time against TCU, though the two programs' most recent clash happened more than two decades ago on Nov. 18, 1999 at the Top of the World Classic in Fairbanks, Alaska when the Bears earned a 91-83 victory. Cal bested TCU in their first meeting, 76-74, on Dec. 27, 1971 at the Rainbow Classic in Honolulu, Hawaii.
 
The Bears are 4-6 all-time against Iowa (last meeting was in 1996) and defeated Clemson, 61-60, in the 1999 NIT championship game, which was the lone meeting between the two teams.
