Sep 12, 2022

LOS ANGELES -- After helping the USC women's soccer team extend its unbeaten streak to four matches, Simone Jackson was named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week.

Jackson scored in both of USC's matches last week and provided one assist as the Trojans beat CSUN and drew with Nebraska on the road.

The sophomore forward assisted the opening goal and then scored the second in a 2-0 win over CSUN on Thursday night in Northridge. She then provided the equalizer in the second half of a 1-1 draw with Nebraska on Sunday afternoon.

Jackson is tied for the team lead with seven total points. She has scored in all three games she has played in so far this season and has one assist. Jackson missed USC's first two games of the season while playing with the U.S. squad at the U-20 World Cup in Costa Rica.

The Trojans are back in action at home this week when they host UC Irvine on Thursday at 3 p.m. for a non-conference matchup. Check out USC's full schedule and purchase tickets here.
