Jared Goff and Aaron Rodgers led the Lions and Packers to wins with strong NFL Week 2 performances on Sunday.

It was a good week for former Cal quarterbacks during Week 2 of the NFL season that ended Monday night as Jared Goff and Aaron Rodgers both had strong performances to lead Detroit and Green Bay to victories. Goff threw four touchdown passes to equal the second-highest total of his career and finished 20-of-34 for 256 yards with the four TDs and no picks for a 121.7 quarterback rating in a 36-27 home win over Washington. Rodgers threw the 450 th and 451 st touchdowns of his career in Green Bay's 27-10 home win over Chicago and finished 19-of-25 for 234 yards and the two TD's also with no picks for a 131.1 rating.

New York Jets safety Ashtyn Davis arguably had the brightest single moment of the day for Pro Bears with a game-clinching interception in Jets' territory on Cleveland's final offensive play of the game to seal a 31-30 victory over the Browns.
