2023 Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament, presented by New York Life, features action-packed lineup of entertainment and activations

LAS VEGAS – The Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament, presented by New York Life, returns to Las Vegas and T-Mobile Arena as all 12 teams from across the Conference compete to punch their ticket to the “Big Dance.” The Tournament takes place March 8-11, 2023 at T-Mobile Arena, with fans able to enjoy a wide variety of entertainment acts and activations throughout the week. 

Television coverage of the Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament will be provided by ESPN and Pac-12 Network. The championship game is scheduled for Saturday, March 11 at 7:30 p.m. PT on ESPN.

Ticket / Will Call Information

  • Fans can visit Pac-12.com/tickets to purchase all-tournament passes and single-session tickets for the Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament.
  • Institutional will call windows open one hour prior to the start of each session, consistent with the timing of arena doors opening for each session. 

Know Before You Go

  • Doors Open – Arena doors will open at the following times:
    • Wednesday, March 8 (First Round) – Session 1: 11 a.m. PT, Session 2: 5 p.m. PT
    • Thursday, March 9 (Quarterfinals) – Session 3: 11 a.m. PT, Session 4: 5 p.m. PT
    • Friday, March 10 (Semifinals) – Session 5: 5 p.m. PT
    • Saturday, March 11 (Championship Game) – Session 6: 6:30 p.m. PT

  • Parking – Fans can purchase parking access at the Park MGM Parking Garage. 

Pac-12 Fan Plaza

  • Pac-12 Fan Plaza – Fans attending the Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament will be able to enjoy a wide variety of food, beverages, activities, and giveaways at the Pac-12 Fan Plaza throughout the week. The plaza will open at 10 a.m. PT on Wednesday and Thursday, 4 p.m. PT on Friday, and 4:30 p.m. PT on Saturday, with fans welcome to stop by and shoot baskets, compete in games, and win prizes. 
  • Pac-12 Partners – Fans visiting the Pac-12 Fan Plaza will be invited to interact with several on-site activations from Pac-12 partners, including Old Trapper, TicketSmarter, and the presenting sponsor of the tournament, New York Life.
  • Tournament Merchandise – Fans can shop for tournament gear and purchase some new items to support their favorite Pac-12 team. 
  • The Trophy – Fans will have the chance to take a photo with the Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament trophy at the Fan Plaza or T-Mobile arena lobby.  
  • Boys and Girls Club – Youth basketball teams from the Boys and Girls Club will scrimmage at the Fan Plaza basketball court on Thursday and Friday. 
  • Pep Rallies – Pep rallies featuring university bands and spirit squads will take place prior to each session in the Fan Plaza outside the entrance to T-Mobile Arena.

2023 #Pac12MBB Entertainment Information (subject to change)

  • Halftime Entertainment – The tournament will feature an action-packed slate of halftime performances from across the Las Vegas entertainment scene, including the following acts and recognitions:
    • America’s Got Talent Presents SUPERSTARS Live – Pack Drumline, AGT Season 17 semi-finalist drum and percussion group as well as one of the newest artists in “America’s Got Talent Presents SUPERSTARS Live” at Luxor Hotel and Casino, will perform the halftime show for the noon game Thursday, March 9.
    • Shows from the Rio – A trio of halftime performances will feature performing acts from the Rio in Las Vegas, including Icarian, Rialcris, and juggler Paul Ponce from  the show, “WOW.” 
    • Absinthe’s Tap Dancing Twins – Twin Brothers Sean and John Scott from the show “Absinthe” will wow fans with their tap dancing performance on Thursday, March 9. 
    • Spiegelworld’s “OPM” Hand-Balancing Act The Force – A thrilling illustration of balance will be on display in a performance by The Force on Friday, March 10 during the semifinal round of the tournament. The duo performs five nights a week in “OPM,” the Spiegelworld show at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
    • America’s Got Talent – iLuminate, the STRAT Hotel’s mind-blowing group dance performance featuring LED lights named “Best New Act in America” by America’s Got Talent, will perform at halftime of the 2:30 p.m. PT matchup on Thursday, March 8. The Spyros Brothers, an additional star act from AGT, is also set to perform on Wednesday, March 8 and Thursday, March 9, respectively.
      • iLuminate is the most fun you will have in the dark while in Las Vegas where top dancers and choreographers synch with unique technology, lighting, illusions, and music.
    • The Dunk Team – The high-flying acrobatic dunk squad, the Dunk Team, will perform at halftime of the championship game on Saturday, March 11.
    • Culture Shock – On Thursday, March 9, Culture Shock, a non-profit dance company dedicated to innovative performance, artist development, and community enrichment, will perform at halftime and include members and allies of the LGBTQIA+ community.
    • Mascot Madness – All 12 mascots will compete in a 6-on-6 basketball game at halftime during the first session of games on Wednesday, March 8, available for fans and media members to enjoy. A photoshoot with the mascots will conclude the evening following the 8:30 p.m. PT matchup. 
  • National Anthem Performances – Pac-12 fans will enjoy a collection of national anthem performances throughout tournament, including the following:
    • Mad Apple – The phenomenal singers of Mad Apple by Cirque du Soleil are performing the national anthem on Friday, March 10 ahead of the semifinal games. 
      • Mad Apple, the newest and maddest Cirque du Soleil production on The Strip, is a delicious cocktail of high-flying acrobatics, music, dance, comedy, and magic celebrating the city that never sleeps. Fans can check them out inside New York-New York Hotel & Casino, belting all of the favorite NYC tunes.
    • Lorena Peril – The national anthem ahead of the tournament’s championship game on Saturday, March 11 will be performed by Lorena Peril from Luxor’s show, “FANTASY.” 
    • University Bands – National anthem performances from university bands will take place throughout the duration of the tournament for fans to enjoy.
  • Pac-12 After Dark Dance Party – During the final game of each of the four game sessions, fans will be able to participate in a Pac-12 After Dark Dance Party, featuring music, DJ performances, glow sticks, and more.
  • Trophy Presentation – Following the championship game on Saturday, March 11, the 2023 Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament Championship trophy, as well as the Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament Most Outstanding Player and All-Tournament Team, will be presented on the court. 

2023 #Pac12MBB Activation Information (subject to change)

  • MGM Grand – A regal lion display will highlight a Pac-12 activation in the lobby of the MGM Grand will serve as the perfect photo backdrop for fans to enjoy.
  • Olympians Made Here – Celebrations of current and former Pac-12 student-athletes who competed in recent Olympics and Paralympics in Tokyo (2020 Summer Games) and Beijing (2022 Winter Games) will take place throughout the tournament, with fans additionally able to participate in Olympic-themed games. 
  • Show Ticket Giveaways – In partnership with MGM Resorts International, the Pac-12 will give away pairs of tickets to Las Vegas shows such as singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks musical groups Muse and New Edition, and more.  
  • Gift Card / Ticket Giveaways – Throughout the tournament, fans will be surprised with gift cards to enjoy meals at some of the finest restaurants in Las Vegas, including Spago and the Mayfair Supper Club at Bellagio and Moneyline Pizza at Aria. Fans will also be able to win tickets to see the defending WNBA Champion Las Vegas Aces and the Las Vegas Desert Dogs from the National Lacrosse League.
  • Autographed Basketball – Fans can enter to win an autographed basketball signed by all 12 Pac-12 women’s basketball head coaches for providing feedback on the event.

Pac-12 ImPACT

  • The social outreach initiative of the Conference, Pac-12 ImPACt features a collection of activations and recognitions at the tournament.
    • International Women’s Day  – A special recognition of International Women’s Day will be held on Wednesday, March 8, with in-game staff wearing commemorative tees that fans can win during a t-shirt toss. Girl Scouts will also be in attendance to lead a Girl Scout Cookie giveaway. 
    • Tribal Leader Recognition – Tribal Leaders from across the Pac-12 footprint will be honored at halftime during the first semifinal matchup on Friday, March 10. 
    • Threes for Equality – Pac-12 partner Pacific Premier Bank will host its annual “Threes for Equality” campaign throughout the duration of the tournament. The Official Bank of the Pac-12 will donate $150 for each three-pointer knocked down throughout the tournament to the United Negro College Fund and National Urban League, as selected by Pac-12 student-athletes. 
    • Snack Packs / Care Packages – In partnership with Sprouts Farmers Market, the Official Grocer of the Pac-12, bands and spirit squads from across the Pac-12 will create snack packs and care packages filled with socks, t-shirts, and toiletries. All items will be donated to the Las Vegas Rescue Mission Shelter. 
    • Community Spotlight – Throughout the tournament, the Pac-12 will highlight community service projects from student-athletes and institutions across the Conference.

Pac-12 Team Green

  • Pac-12 Team Green – The sustainability arm of the Conference, Pac-12 Team Green is set with multiple on-site promotions at the tournament.
    • Fans can win a special bag made of recycled water bottles in exchange for their recyclables, compostables, and landfill items they accumulate during games.
    • There will be a competition to see which fanbase can stay the most hydrated while offsetting the use of single-serve plastic water bottles. Fans can visit the Pac-12 hydration station to purchase a reusable water bottle.
