Cal To Hold Annual Pro Day

BERKELEY – California will hold its annual Pro Day for former Golden Bears who are professional football prospects on Thursday, March 23. The event will take place both within the Simpson Center For Student-Athlete High Performance and at California Memorial Stadium with the on-field portion open to the public beginning at approximately 9:15 a.m. PT. Admission is free and attendees can enter the stadium through Gate 2 located in the northwest corner of California Memorial Stadium and sit on the west side of the stadium in Sections E, EE, F, FF, G, GG, H, HH, I and II. All other sections of the stadium including the field and North Tunnel will be closed to public access.

Former Cal players expected to participate include Kekoa Crawford, Marcel Dancy, Daniel Scott and Jamieson Sheahan. Scott and Sheahan finished their collegiate careers at Cal in 2022, while Crawford and Dancy wrapped up with the Golden Bears in 2021.

Physical measurements (height, weight, hand, arm, wingspan) will be taken before Crawford and Dancy are expected to be tested by NFL teams in the 40-yard dash. The event will conclude with on-field position work for each of the four participants.

The 2023 NFL Draft is scheduled to be held April 27-29 in Kansas City.

California Memorial Stadium is located at 2227 Piedmont Avenue in Berkeley between Bancroft Way and Stadium Rim Way, adjacent to the Simpson Center for Student-Athlete High Performance. Public transportation is highly recommended when visiting California Memorial Stadium. There are multiple public transportation options. Parking in the vicinity is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please read all signs at each parking location for further important information. See below for some suggestions in order of proximity to the stadium

• Stadium Parking – Paid parking near corner of Gayley Road (where Piedmont becomes Gayley Road) and Stadium Rim Way just north of stadium
• Street Parking – Paid and two-hour free parking may be available on streets near stadium
• Witter Lot – Paid parking near the corner of Centennial Drive and Stadium Rim Way just east of stadium
• Lower Sproul Garage – Paid parking on north side of Bancroft Way between Telegraph Avenue and Dana Street
• Rec Sports Facility Garage – Paid parking on north side of Bancroft Way between Dana Street and Ellsworth Street
• Underhill Garage – Paid parking on corner of Channing Way and College Avenue
