STANFORD, Calif. - Top-seeded and No. 1 nationally ranked UCLA swept No. 9 CALIFORNIA, 3-0, in the title match to claim the 2023 Pac-12 Beach Volleyball Championship at Stanford Beach Volleyball Stadium on Friday. It marks the third time in the seven stagings of the event the Bruins have claimed the crown (2018, 2021, 2023).

The final day of the Championship saw the third-seeded Golden Bears advance to the title match for the first time in the history of the tournament, blanking host STANFORD in Friday's opening dual.

In the title match, UCLA's Peri Brennan/Abby Van Winkle took the first point with a 21-12, 21-13 win on court No. 2, closely followed by No. 4's Jessie Smith/Marlie Monserez in a 21-16, 21-18 battle to give the Bruins a 2-0 lead going into the second wave of duals. UCLA's No. 5 Jaden Whitmarsh/Devon Newberry brought home the final point to crown UCLA the 2023 Pac-12 Champions.
