OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Mimi Colyer, So., OH, Oregon (Lincoln, Calif.)

  • The reigning AVCA National Freshman of the Year picked up right where she left off, leading No. 9 Oregon to a 3-0 record on opening weekend.
  • Collected a team-and-conference-high 48 kills across the three matches as the Ducks swept No. 13 San Diego, Northwestern and Hawai'i in Honolulu. 
  • Recorded 6.3 points per set to go along with 18 digs, seven blocks and five aces en route to earning MVP honors at the Rainbow Wahine Classic.
  • Tallied double-digit kills in all three matches and hit .324 or higher in two of the three matches. 
  • Second career offensive player of the week honor and 10th weekly honor overall after setting a Pac-12 record last fall with nine freshman of the week awards.
  • Oregon's 23rd offensive award and 50th overall all-time.

  • Helped lead No. 9 Oregon to a 3-0 record on opening weekend at the Rainbow Wahine Classic where the Ducks won all nine sets played.
  • Registered a conference-high 1.78 blocks per set as Oregon out-blocked its opponents 31-8 overall.
  • Tallied seven blocks in back-to-back matches to start the season, including the win over No. 13 San Diego on Friday.
  • Key part of a Ducks' defense that held weekend opponents to a .090 hitting percentage. 
  • Added 15 kills on the weekend, including seven in the weekend finale against host Hawaii. 
  • First career defensive award and Oregon's 12th overall; Second weekly award after earning a freshman of the week award in 2019.

  • In her collegiate debut weekend, the Beijing native recorded a team-high 34 kills to help California to its first 3-0 start since 2019. 
  • In first career match, posted a double-double with 11 kills and 10 digs to lead the Bears to a 3-0 sweep against tournament host Army.
  • Registered a weekend-high 16 kills and nine digs in a 3-1 win over Fairfield.
  • Added six service aces and 4.2 points per set on the weekend.
  • First Pac-12 Freshman of the Week award for California since Lauren Forte earned the honor in 2018 (Oct. 22).
