Offensive Player of the Week: Maya Doms, Sr., STANFORD (Davis, Calif.)

  • Scored the equalizer at No. 2 UCLA less than one minute after the Bruins scored their go-ahead goal, spoiling UCLA’s 12-game win streak. 
  • The goal was her seventh of the season, a Cardinal best and good for fifth-most in the conference.
  • Rattled off a game-high six shots against the Bruins, putting a pair on frame.
  • Second career Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week and first of the season (Aug. 30, 2021). 

Defensive Player of the Week: Ayo Oke, Jr., UCLA (Lawrenceville, Ga.)
2 Games, 1 Goal, 2 Assist, 4 Points

  • Scored the game-winner, her first as a Bruin, and assisted on the insurance goal to give UCLA a 2-0 shutout win against California and set themselves up for a Pac-12 Championship clinch the following Sunday.
  • Assisted the Bruins’ lone goal against Stanford that led them to their 14th Pac-12 Championship. 
  • Served as a member of a Bruin defense that had held its opponents to single digit shots in 16 of its 17 matches, including seven from the Bears and nine from the Cardinal, and just two goals in the month of October.
  • First career Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week and first of the season.

  • Earned her 11th and 12th wins of the season, tying her for seventh in Buffs' history, with a pair of shutouts over Arizona (2-0) and Arizona State (4-0).
  • Owns the second place spot in the conference for shutouts this season after picking up her seventh and eighth.
  • Saw 18 total shots come her way, making 8 crucial saves to keep her opponents scoreless.
  • Shut out a ranked team in No. 18 Arizona State for the second time this season (No. 14 Michigan State).
  • Second career Pac-12 Goalkeeper of the Week and second of the season (Aug. 27).
