Laiatu Latu Named Consensus All-America Selection

Dec 14, 2023
Laiatu Latu (15)

UCLA's Laiatu Latu has been deemed a consensus All-America, the 42nd in UCLA football history, after he was selected to the first-team All-America teams of the five organizations used to compile the consensus chart – American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), Associated Press (AP), Football Writers Association of America (FWAA), The Sporting News and Walter Camp Foundation.

 2023 Consensus All-America
The following players were listed on the most first team All-America teams competing against players at that position only. To be selected a player must be named first team on at least two of the five selected All-America teams. 14 players were unanimous choices at specific positions by the five organizations used in the consensus chart — American Football Coaches Association, Associated Press, Football Writers Association of America, The Sporting News and Walter Camp Foundation. Note: The five teams have a different way of listing the returner and/or all-purpose player. For the purpose of the Consensus All-America team those categories were treated as one position.
