Acura named presenting partner of 2024 Pac-12 Men’s & Women’s Basketball Tournaments

Feb 28, 2024

The Pac-12 announced today that leading automaker, Acura, has been named as the presenting partner of the upcoming 2024 Pac-12 Men’s & Women’s Basketball Tournaments in Las Vegas, as well as an official partner of the conference.

“We are so excited to partner with a premium brand like Acura in support of our premier basketball events as our student-athletes descend upon Las Vegas to compete for a chance to punch their ticket to the Big Dance,” said Pac-12 Networks Executive Vice President, Sales, Partnerships & Distribution, Steve Tseng

Acura joins Oakley and Columbia Sportswear as new official partners of the Pac-12 this season, as well as a number of other leading brands as official partners, including Dr Pepper, FuboTV, Gatorade, Nextiva, Nike, Old Trapper, On Location, Pacific Premier Bank, Pacific Seafood, Paycor, Rawlings, Sprouts, TicketSmarter and Twisted Tea.

As the official presenting partner of both Pac-12 tournaments, Acura will receive on-court and in-arena branding and marketing assets, as well as hospitality benefits and a robust lineup of linear and digital media promotions.

“The excitement surrounding college basketball at tournament time is electric and we are thrilled to bring Acura’s longstanding support of college basketball to Pac-12 Tournament fans,” said Meliza Humphrey, Senior Manager, Acura Marketing. “It is especially important for Acura to support both the women’s and men’s tournaments and connect with their passionate fans.”

“Our Pac-12 Men’s & Women’s Basketball Tournaments serve as wonderful showcases for the tireless work put in by our student-athletes all season long," said Pac-12 Commissioner-Elect, Teresa Gould. “Having an elite brand such as Acura join as presenting partner of these events is a fitting partnership given the excellence we will see on the courts."

The comprehensive deal was brokered by Trailblazing Sports Group – a leading commercial partnerships firm dedicated to women’s sports.

The Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Tournament, presented by Acura, is set for March 6-10 and returns to MGM Grand Garden Arena for the first time since 2019. The Pac-12 Men’s Basketball Tournament, presented by Acura, returns to T-Mobile Arena for the seventh-straight year and takes place March 13-16.
