After starring on the field during Washington's amazing post-season run in 2018, slugger Joe Wainhouse is coming back for another year with the Diamond Dawgs. Wainhouse was granted another year of eligibility after missing most of 2017 with an injury and announced his return to campus on Instagram.
After the Huskies' historic College World Series run in June, many of the players hit the road and traveled to locations throughout the country to play summer ball. There were many outstanding performances by the Dawgs during the summer and here are a few of the highlights.
Washington Coach Lindsay Meggs added a pair community college transfers to bolster the roster for the 2019 season. Connor Blair from Butte College in California and Ricky Muzzy from Lower Columbia College in Washington will the join Huskies this fall.
