By: Pac-12 Conference

Maximo Renteria, R-Sr., Oregon State (Clovis, Calif.)

For the third time this season, Oregon State’s Maximo Renteria was named Pac-12 Wrestler of the Week.  Renteria becomes the first grappler in the conference to win this award three times in the same season since the Beavers’ Ethan Stiles took home the honors three times last season.  The redshirt senior previously won this award twice in December (Dec. 9 & Dec. 23).

Renteria wrestled once in Oregon State's 2-0 week, picking up a 13-6 decision over No. 18 Koda Holeman from Cal Poly on Sunday. Renteria went up 6-1 after one period and held Holeman scoreless in a 4-0 second period. He ended up with a reversal and then riding time in the third and final period to cap the decision. Renteria improved to 6-2 against ranked foes this season. He is 14-2 overall this season.

ALSO NOMINATED: Andre Gonzales, Cal Poly
