The Utah Utes recorded their first shutout since 2012 and won their season opener, 24-0, against Southern Utah. Quarterback Troy Williams went 20-of-35 throwing for 272 yards and two touchdown passes. Tim Patrick had 105 yards receiving on five catches with two touchdowns.(Sept. 1, 2016)
