The Stanford Cardinal took home a 17-7 win over Northwestern to snap the Wildcats' eight-game road win streak. Despite losing quarterback KJ Costello to an injury in the second quarter, quarterback David Mills entered as his replacement, finishing 7-14 for 81 yards. With the victory over Northwestern, Stanford has now won 22 straight non-conference home games.
