One of the most electrifying athletes to ever play at Utah, wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. continued to amaze during a 16-year career in the National Football League, making five Pro Bowl appearances and playing a critical role in leading the Carolina Panthers to the Super Bowl in 2003. Smith left Utah as the program’s all-time leader by averaging 20.55 yards per catch, and earned all-Mountain West Conference honors twice.
