Amazing Calls presented by Nextiva | Washington's Immaculate Interception

Football
Dec 18, 2020
This Amazing Call presented by Nextiva takes us back to October 10th, 2009, with the Washington Huskies hosting the Arizona Wildcats. Arizona led by five with 2:49 left to play when Wildcats quarterback - and future Super Bowl MVP - Nick Foles tried to complete a short pass to pick up a first down. Instead, the ball deflected off the very bottom of the receiver's foot and into the hands of Washington's Mason Foster who ran it all the way back for an improbable pick-six. The defensive touchdown propelled the Huskies to victory, dubbing the play an "Immaculate Interception."
