In a topsy-turvy game that came down to the final minute, No. 20 USC football came away with a 34-30 victory over Arizona in Tucson on Saturday afternoon. Running back Vavae Malepeai ran it in from eight yards out with 25 second left in regulation to put the Trojans on top in a game that saw multiple lead changes. Arizona quarterback Grant Gunnell had a big game with three touchdowns, 286 passing yards, and 40 rushing yards. But the Wildcats could not quite close out the upset and the Trojans escaped to stay undefeated.
