No. 1 Stanford women's soccer defeated No. 2 UCLA 4-1 behind Sophia Smith's hat trick to advance to the College Cup. The Cardinal will face No. 1 North Carolina for the NCAA title match on Sunday. Smith had a monumental game, scoring goals in the ninth, 31st, and 52nd minutes. Carly Malatskey added a goal of her own in the 21st minute. Chloe Castaneda scored the only goal for the Bruins in the seventh minute.
