For the first time since 2010, Washington secured a win over Oregon in Eugene, 61-56, on Thursday evening, snapping a six-game losing streak to the Ducks. After trailing by as many as 12 points in the second half, Oregon fought back to grab a five point lead with less than three minutes left in regulation. But Jaylen Nowell tacked on eight points with a little more than two minutes left in play, while Matisse Thybulle sealed the win with two made free throws of his own. Nowell posted a game-high 20 points, while Thybulle added two points, three steals and tied a career-high seven assists, boosting the Huskies to a 6-0 start in conference play for the first time since 1983-84.
