Naomi Girma, a sophomore, led the Cardinal back line to 12 shutouts and limited opponents to just 10 goals and 35 shots on target this season, earning Pac-12 Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Year honors. She also netted two goals and recorded one assist in during the 2019 regular season.
