Utah football checks in at No. 7 in latest College Football Playoff rankings

Pac-12 South-leading Utah football appears at No. 7 in the second release of the College Football Playoff rankings. The No. 7 ranking is the highest ever for the Utes in the CFP poll, beating their previous record of No. 8 last week. The Utes were idle last week, and travel to the Rose Bowl to take on UCLA in a pivotal divisional matchup Saturday night.
