In Washington's 31-13 win over Washington State in the Apple Cup, Joe Tryon led the Huskies defensive effort that limited Washington State to just one touchdown, 13 points and 339 yards of total offense to earn him the final Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week accolades for the year. Tryon finished the game with four total tackles, including two-and-a-half for loss and two sacks, which were good for 19 yards in losses.
