Travis Wilson, Devontae Booker engineer Utah's game-winning drive against USC

Oct 26, 2014

The Utah Utes were playing from behind at home on Saturday night. They missed several opportunities for stops on third downs against USC quarterback Cody Kessler, receiver Nelson Agholor and running back Buck Allen.

But Utes quarterback Travis Wilson and running back Devontae Booker saved some of their best play for the most important drive.

Booker pumped out 102 tough rush yards on 26 carries against a stingy USC defense, but the Utes went to him for his only reception late. Booker's 17-yard catch led to a Wilson scramble, which then set up a 1-yard score with just seconds left. Though Wilson didn't get into the end zone on his run, his pass to Kaelin Clay on a well-executed play gave the Utes their go-ahead touchdown in a thrilling 24-21 Utah victory.
