USC's Nelson Agholor burns Washington State for career night

Nov 1, 2014

USC receiver Nelson Agholor regularly puts up highlight-reel plays, but on Saturday against the Washington State Cougars he was setting career marks.

Three minutes into the game televised by the Pac-12 Networks, Agholor got things going for the Trojans with a 65-yard punt return for a score. Later on, he helped put the game away with a 87-yard touchdown reception. The latter put the Trojans ahead 31-10 in the third quarter.

The Trojans would end up with the win 44-17, and Ahgolor would finish the game with eight receptions for a career best 220 yards receiving. Do the math, and that comes out to an average of 27.5 yards per pass catch. Not bad.
