Abrams Jr. and Montez Elevated From Practice Squads For Week 15

Delrick Abrams Jr. (Atlanta) and Steven Montez (Washington) were activated from their respective practice squads for Week 15 of #NFLBuffs.
 
Pair Of Rookies Suit Up
Abrams Jr. was promoted from the practice squad before the Falcons game against Tampa Bay on Sunday. The cornerback played in six snaps on defense and one on special teams in a 31-27 loss to Tampa Bay.
 
This was Abrams Jr.'s first game since making consecutive appearances in weeks three and four. He has been a member of the Falcons practice squad throughout the season.
 
Montez was promoted from Washington's practice squad and was the backup quarterback in a 20-15 loss to Seattle. He has been a practice squad member for the first 14 weeks of the year, but was elevated for the game on Sunday due to quarterback injuries for Washington.

This was Montez's first game as an active player in his NFL career.
 
Buffs In Action
David Bakhtiari (Green Bay) started his 117th career game for the Packers in a 24-16 win over Carolina on Saturday night. The Packers now sit atop the NFC with a 11-3 record.
 
Bakhtiari was also the leading vote getter in the Pro Bowl Fan Vote amongst offensive tackles, receiving 151,593 votes. He has been to two Pro Bowls in his career.
 
Mason Crosby (Green Bay) connected on his only field goal attempt from 51-yards out and made all three of his extra point tries in their victory over Carolina. He improves to a perfect 16-for-16 on the year from field goals.

Arlington Hambright (Chicago) played in seven special teams snaps on Sunday in a 33-27 win at Minnesota. 
 
Phillip Lindsay (Denver) started and ran 11 times for 38 yards in a 48-19 loss to Buffalo on Saturday night. He also caught three passes for seven yards.
 
Isaiah Oliver (Atlanta) started at cornerback for the Falcons in a loss to Tampa Bay. He tallied six total tackles and forced a fumble in the game, before exiting the game in the second half with cramping issues. 
 
Laviska Shenault Jr. (Jacksonville) caught five passes for 43 yards in a 40-14 loss to Baltimore. 
 
Going into the weekend, Shenault Jr. was third amongst rookie wideouts in passer rating when targeted at 111.3, according to Pro Football Focus College.
 
Ahkello Witherspoon (San Francisco) started for the 49ers in a 41-33 loss to Dallas on Sunday. The fourth year cornerback recorded one tackle and had two passes defended.
 
According to Pro Football Focus, Witherspoon had a coverage grade of 88.8 in Week 15, which ranks sixth amongst cornerbacks.
 
Buffs Sidelined
Daniel Munyer
(Tennessee) was designated as a standard elevation from the practice squad before Week 15. Munyer was inactive in the Titans 46-25 win over Detroit. 

Ken Crawley (New Orleans), Jimmy Smith (Baltimore), and Tedric Thompson (Cleveland) were all inactive for Week 15.
