ASU is off to its best start since the program's return was announced in 2016 following an eight-year hiatus. The Sun Devils' roster features No. 14 doubles pair Tim Ruehl/Andrea Bolla along with 4-1 tandem Max McKennon/Nathan Ponwith. Ponwith is 6-0 in singles this season and took No. 57 Siem Woldeab of Texas in three sets in the second match of the year, and Ruehl won over No. 90 Corrado Summaria from Pepperdine. Sophomore George Stouple has had an impeccable start to the season too. He holds matching 5-0 singles and doubles records in 2021.

The Sun Devils hit the road for a pair of matches at San Diego and No. 5 TCU this weekend. USD and ASU face off at 1 p.m. MST Friday, and the weekend concludes Sunday at noon MST at TCU.
