TEMPE, Ariz. -- The undefeated Arizona State soccer team looks to protect its five-game win streak against Pac-12 Conference foe, Washington, in Sunday's matinee at Sun Devil Stadium on Pac-12 Network.

Arizona State's (5-0) second conference matchup against Washington (4-0-1) is set for 12 p.m. MST. Find Pac-12 Network on common cable providers here

Dating back to 1997, the two programs are 9-10-4 with wins achieved on home pitch. The Sun Devils' last wins against the Huskies came in 2018 and 2017.

The Sun Devils secured their second-straight undefeated non-conference start and turned their attention to conference competition last Friday night. An unranked ASU squad faced No. 10 Southern California at Sun Devil Stadium for the 25th time in program history.

Leading Sun Devil goal-scorer Nicole Douglas netted a header in the 13th minute of play that would eventually be the only goal scored through 90 minutes. Goalkeeper Giulia Cascapera secured her third shutout of the season to tie her single-season high.

With the win over USC, ASU broke a conference-win dry spell. The last time the Sun Devils earned a conference win was at Oregon State on Oct. 28, 2018.

  • Olivia Nguyen and Nicole Douglas lead the Pac-12 in game-winning goals with two each. Douglas' career-high is three which she achieved in both 2018 and 2019.
  • Douglas Mania: she leads the Pac-12 Conference in total points (14), goals (6), points per game (2.80), and goals per game (1.20)
  • Goalkeeper Giula Cascapera's three shutouts leads the Pac-12
  • The team's total assists (17), total goals (15), and total points (47), leads the Pac-12 Conference.
  • The team's average of 9.40 points per game is the Pac-12 leader and ranks ninth in the NCAA
  • ASU has outscored its opponents 15-3 in five meetings - including three shutouts
  • Nicole Douglas and Olivia Nguyen earned back-to-back Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week (Week 1 & 2)
  • Freshman Lucy Johnson started in all five games and recorded two assists and six shots from the backline
  • Cinderella story: Nguyen went through two years as a Sun Devil without recording any points. All that changed in the 2020-21 season opener when the junior recorded her first collegiate goal/point against UTEP.
  • Assist Queen: Alexia Delgado boasts five assists in five appearances. It's more than double the two she earned in 2019.
