Gymnast of the Week: Emily White, So., Arizona State (Seal Beach, Calif.)

  • With only three previous all-around scores to her name, won the all-around against UCLA.
  • Her 39.600 in the all-around is a career high, tied for 21st highest score in program history, and the best for a Gym Devil since 2007.
  • En route to that total, reached a career high on vault (9.925) and tied her career high on floor (9.875). 
  • Also reached a season high on bars (9.900) and beam (9.900).
  • Won the event titles on vault, beam and the all-around. The vault title was the first of her career in that event.
  • Helped Arizona State beat UCLA for the first time since 2001. 
  • Pushed ASU to a 197.800 team score, the seventh-highest in program history.
  • Her scores helped the team reach new season high event totals on all four events, with the floor score being the highest the program has seen since 2004.

Freshman of the Week: Jade Carey, Fr., Oregon State (Phoenix, Ariz.)

  • In her sixth collegiate meet, took home her sixth all-around title at No. 4 Utah with the Pac-12's leading score of 39.700 to help the Beavers score their fourth 197+ of the season.
  • Claimed sole possession of the vault title with a career-best 9.975 while also sharing titles on bars (9.95) and floor (9.925).
  • After four titles at Utah, now has 27 individual titles this season and has scored 9.9s in 22 of 24 routines. 
  • First time since 2017 that Oregon State has scored four 197's in a single season.
  • The Olympic gold medalist is second in the nation on all-around, first on bars, second on floor, sixth on beam. 
  • Fourth Freshman of the Week honor of the season.

Specialist of the Week: Cristal Isa, Sr., Utah (Henderson, Nev.)

  • Scored her first career Perfect 10 in the win over Oregon State with the 10.0 coming on beam.
  • Her 10.0 led Utah to a 49.725 on beam, which tied a season high score on the event and is the nation's best this season.
  • Perfect score won her the beam title for her fifth win of the season, which is the second most on the team.
  • One of just five gymnasts in the nation to earn a 10.0 on beam this season and is the second Red Rock to do so.
  • Also posted a 9.875 on bars to have both scores counted toward the team total and help Utah become the fourth team in the nation to hit the 198-mark.
  • Ranked No. 17 on bars in the nation.
  • Third Pac-12 weekly honor of the season. 

Coaches Choice: Hannah Scharf, Jr., Arizona State (Barrie, Ontario, Canada)

  • Celebrated her birthday by matching her career high on bars and beam, while earning new season highs on floor and in the all-around.
  • Tied for first on beam, her first title of the season in that event.
  • In the first NQS rankings, ranked No. 2 in the nation in the all-around
  • Pushed ASU to a 197.800 team score, the seventh-highest in program history.
