Ducks Host OSU for Senior Weekend

Apr 27, 2022

It's Rivalry Week and Senior Weekend as the Ducks host Oregon State for their final three home games of 2022 Friday through Sunday. For the first time since March, Oregon will not face a team that both is currently ranked and/or played in the 2021 NCAA Tournament (though OSU has been ranked this season). The Beavers lead the all-time series 99-94-1.

GAME NOTES

SENIOR WEEKEND
Oregon will honor three seniors who will be playing their final regular season games at Jane Sanders Stadium this weekend. All three - Jordan Dail, Hannah Galey and Jas Williams - have been with coach Melyssa Lombardi since day one of her Oregon tenure.

THE 10 GRADUATES
Ten Ducks will have earned their college degrees by the end of the summer. Three are already college graduates - Jordan Dail, Terra McGowan and Brooke Yanez. Allee Bunker, Rachel Cid, Hannah Galey, Katelyn Howard, Makenna Kliethermes and Karissa Ornelas will graduate at the end of this quarter, while Jasmine Williams will complete her degree this summer.

SCHEDULE STRENGTH
Ranked 21st in the RPI, the Ducks have played the fifth-most difficult schedule nationally this season. Of the Ducks' 26 wins, 17 have come against teams currently ranked among the RPI top 100.

RUN DUCKS RUN
Oregon leads the Pac-12 in stolen bases at 1.74 per game (25th nationally). On the season the Ducks have swiped 73 bases in 88 attempts this season. Compare that to the opposition, which has 20 steals in 32 tries. The Ducks set a school record with nine steals March 21 at BYU. Oregon has stolen at least three bases 11 times this season.

THE JANE CONTINUES TO DRAW BIG CROWDS
Oregon currently ranks fourth nationally in attendance, averaging 1,875 per game. The Ducks saw a season-high crowd of 2,443 - just shy of a sellout  - last Saturday versus Washington.
