By: Pac-12 Conference

Daschle Lamer, R-So., Oregon State (Corvallis, Ore.)

For the first time in his career, Oregon State’s Daschle Lamer was named Pac-12 Wrestler of the Week.  This is the fourth time this season an OSU grappler has claimed this award, the previous three by teammate Maximo Renteria, matching Little Rock for most in the conference this season.

Lamer picked up a pin in 4:26 at 174 over Bronson Baxter in the Beavers' 29-10 win over Little Rock on Friday night. The pin marked his third of the season, and his first against a Pac-12 foe. Lamer was well on his way to the win before the pin, leading 11-0 in the second period at the time. The Corvallis native is now 16-2 on the year and is on a three-bout win streak.
