Pac-12 Women’s Basketball Performance Awards, presented by Nextiva - Dec. 26, 2022

SAN FRANCISCO - The Pac-12 today announced its women's basketball performance awards, presented by Nextiva, for games played from December 19 - December 25 and voted on by media who cover the league.

PLAYER & FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: Grace VanSlooten, Fr., F, Oregon (Toledo, Ohio)

• Averaged 27.5 points on 60.0 percent shooting, 7.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks against a pair of ranked opponents in then-No. 17 Arkansas and No. 3 Ohio State at the San Diego Invitational.
• Matched a career high with 26 points in the Ducks' 85-78 win over the Razorbacks on Dec. 20 and bested that one day later, scoring 29 on 11-of-16 shooting against the Buckeyes on Dec. 21.
• Output against Ohio State is tied for the fourth-best against a top-five opponent in the NCAA this season and the most in the Pac-12 since California's Jayda Curry scored 30 at No. 2 Stanford on Jan. 21, 2022.
• Leads Pac-12 freshmen in scoring at 16.3 points per game and is fourth among freshmen nationally.
• Just the third player to sweep both weekly awards since the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week award started in 2012-13.
