Stanford football picked up a homecoming win Saturday against Arizona, outlasting the Wildcats 41-31; Stanford has won the last six straight matchups between the two teams. Cardinal quarterback K.J. Costello threw for 312 yards and three touchdowns in his return from injury. Simi Fehoko caught two of Costello's touchdown passes, and Brycen Tremayne caught the third; running back Cameron Scarlett contributed two touchdowns on the ground. Despite the loss, Arizona starting quarterback Khalil Tate had a strong performance, putting up 205 yards and two touchdowns through the air, while sprinting 57 yards for one more. The Cardinal is now 3-3 in conference play, and the Wildcats are 2-3.
