Stanford struggled to keep up with Notre Dame and fell 38-17 on the road on Saturday night. Despite quarterback KJ Costello's ninth-straight game with a touchdown pass the Cardinal gave up five sacks, which ties the total sacks on the season. Notre Dame had a strong performance by racking up over 500 yards of total offense to take home their first 5-0 start since 2014. Stanford moves to 4-1 on the season with a 2-0 record in Pac-12 play.
