One of the highlights of Oregon State’s 2014 season will be watching senior quarterback Sean Mannion climb his way up the list of the Pac-12’s all-time leaders in passing yardage. In fact Mannion, who entered the season ranked tenth, already is on the move.

Mannion passed several Pac-12 greats in the Beavers’ season opener Saturday on Pac-12 Networks, a 29-14 win over Portland State. Among them: Pac-12 Networks’ own Matt Leinart, whom Mannion eclipsed with a 328-yard performance. The OSU star stands in seventh place in the Pac-12 career passing yardage list.

Pac-12 Networks’ Drea Avent was able to get Mannion’s thoughts about the milestone after the game, heard here.
