Pac-12 announces volleyball players of the week

Offensive: Mac May, JR, OH, UCLA (Dubuque, Iowa)
4.71 KPS, .338. 2.71 DPS, 0.57 BPS, 5.1 PPS
• Led UCLA in upsets of No. 2 Stanford, marking the first program win over a top-two team since 2016, and No. 15 California (3-1) last week.
• Produced a double-double (12 kills, 10 digs) hitting .333 against the Cardinal as the Bruins are the first team to sweep Stanford since December 2015.
•  Nearly recorded her second double-double of the weekend posting 21 kills and nine digs against the Bears, marking her third time earning 20 or more kills in a match this season.
• Earns her second-career offensive player of the week honor, and UCLA’s 85th all-time.

Defensive: Morgan Hentz, SR, LB, Stanford (Lakeside Park, Ky.)
4.88 DPS, 0.75 APS
• Anchored the Stanford defense in a split weekend falling to UCLA (3-0),  but bounced back to defeat USC, 3-2, in a comeback victory.
• Recorded a match-high 12 digs against the Bruins including the 2,000th of her career, becoming just the third Cardinal to reach that milestone and the 14th in Pac-12 history.
• Matched her season-high with 27 digs in the comeback win over the Trojans, moving into second place on Stanford's career digs list
• Collects her seventh-career defensive player of the week award and 119th all-time for the Cardinal.  

Freshman: Lexi Hadrych, FR, OH, UCLA (Murrieta, Calif.)
2.86 KPS, .286 Pct., 0.14 APS, 0.57 BPS, 3.1 PPS
• Posted 10 kills in both Bruin upset victories over No. 2 Stanford (3-0) on Friday and No. 15 California (3-1) last week.
• Hit .368 against the Cardinal as UCLA swept Stanford for the first time 2015 and recorded its first win against a top-two team for the first time since 2015.
• Earned three blocks and hit .217 while facing the Bears.
• Named freshman of the week for the first time this season and earns UCLA’s 10th all-time freshman of the week award.
