Utah Football Adds 18 On Early Signing Day

SALT LAKE CITY – "Next man up" has always been a mantra of the University of Utah Football team and today the program welcomed 18 future Utes to the program on early national signing day.

It was a great day to be a Ute, starting at 7:24 a.m. as the first signees started to roll in. Utah's signing class is comprised of six offensive players (2 OL, 1 QB, 1 RB, 1 TE, 1 WR) and 12 defensive (5 LB, 4 DL, 3 DB) which includes four four-star and 14 three-stars recruits.

Utah's four-star recruits include LB Ethan Calvert, QB Peter Costelli, RB Ricky Parks and LB Mason Tufaga, with Calvert ranking as the third-highest rated recruit in program history according to 247Sports.
According to 247Sports, Utah finished the day with the No. 29 recruiting class in the country and the fourth-best in the Pac-12. It is the second straight season that the Utes have produced a top-30 class.

The 18 future Utes will be coming to Salt Lake City from all over the country, including California (6), Utah (4), Arizona (2), Florida (1), Washington (1), Nevada (1), Georgia (1), Idaho (1) and Hawaii (1).
