WRESTLER OF THE WEEK: Shane Griffith, R-Jr., STANFORD (165, Westwood, N.J.) 

  • Ranked third nationally at 165 lbs, Griffith registered a reversal with 30 seconds remaining to defeat No. 7 Anthony Valencia of Arizona State on Friday, 7-6.
  • Griffith jumped out to a 5-0 lead, but gave up a takedown and four back points in the third period before scoring the winning reversal.
  • Win marks the third top-10 win for Griffith this season as he improved to 12-2 overall.
  • Second Pac-12 Wrestler of the Week award of the season and fourth of his career.
