Pac-12 Tennis Players of The Week - March 24, 2022

MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Stefan Dostanic, Jr., USC (Irvine, Calif.) 

• Playing at the No. 1 singles position and adding to his 12-match singles win streak, Dostanic went undefeated in both singles and doubles in three dual matches last week, two of which were against ranked teams (No. 15 Texas, Arizona State, No. 24 Arizona). 
• Partnered with Bradley Frye, the 14th-ranked doubles duo upset No. 15 Texas’ Braswell/Huang to take a 6-4 win on court one.
• In singles competition, Dostanic took a 7-5, 6-4 victory over Texas’ 38th-ranked Micah Braswell.
• Went on to defeat 94th-ranked Fabian Salle of ASU (6-1, 6-2) in USC’s win over Arizona State (4-3). 
• Later in the week, Dostanic and Frye peeled out to a 5-0 lead in the breaker and secured the opening point on their 7-6 (3) victory over Arizona's Hoeyeraal/Ziverts.

WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Connie Ma, Fr., STANFORD (Dublin, Calif.)

• Playing at the No. 1 singles position, No. 11-ranked Ma picked up a straight set win (6-1, 6-2) over Colorado’s Antonia Balzert, helping the No. 24-ranked Cardinal to a 6-1 victory over the Buffs during their second conference outing of the season. 
• Playing at the No. 1 doubles position and partnered with Angelica Blake, the No. 7-ranked doubles duo gave the Cardinal a 1-0 lead against Utah with a victory over No. 54-ranked Dush/Goncharova (6-3). 
• Went on to clinch Stanford's match against Utah on court one, with a defeat over Utah’s No. 97-ranked Linda Huang (6-0, 6-2), while improving to 6-1 this season vs. nationally ranked opponents and 6-0 vs. Pac-12 opponents.
