The Pac-12 announced its ninth weekly honors of the 2023-24 men's basketball season as presented by Nextiva and voted on by media who cover the league. See below for this week's recognitions and keep track of the 2023-24 Player of the Year watchlist here:
Pac-12 Men's Basketball Player of the Week, presented by Nextiva (1/8/24)
Caleb Love, ARIZONA
Sr., G, St. Louis, Mo.
- Averaged 19.5 points on 60 percent shooting (16-27), 4.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists as Arizona rolled to victories over Colorado and Utah by an average of 33.0 points.
- Scored 16 points on 7-of-12 shooting, while helping limit Pac-12 leading scorer KJ Simpson to a season-low 10 points and season-high eight turnovers, in the Wildcats' 97-50 rout of the Buffaloes, their largest Conference win since 1997.
- Followed with 23 points, six rebounds and six assists in 92-73 victory over Utah - his second 20p-5r-5a game this season (only Pac-12 player with multiple) and fifth of his career.
- First career Player of the Week honor; twice named ACC Rookie of the Week at North Carolina (1/25/21, 2/8/21).
- Third different Arizona player honored this season, 10th season in program history with three-or-more recipients (2021-22, 2017-18, 2015-16, 2008-09 - 4, 2002-03, 2000-01 - 4, 1997-98 - 4, 1995-96, 1990-91).

Pac-12 Men's Basketball Freshman of the Week, presented by Nextiva (1/8/24)
Isaiah Collier, USC
Fr., G, Atlanta, Ga.
- Paced USC to a home sweep of the Bay Area schools, averaging 19.5 points on 56 percent shooting (15-27) along with 5.5 assists and a 5.5 assist-to-turnover ratio (11:2).
- Scored a season-high 26 points (9-15 FG, 3-4 3FG) in 29 minutes of action in Saturday's 93-79 victory over Stanford, outdueling fellow Atlanta-area freshman Kanaan Carlyle (6p/5a/26m).
- Opened week with 13 points and season-high seven assists against no turnovers in 82-74 victory over California.
- Third Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honor of season (11/13/23, 11/20/23); trails only Evan Mobley (seven in 2020-21) for most awards in program history.
