By: Pac-12 Conference
Brock Herman, Jr., Little Rock (Medina, Ohio)
For the first time in his career, Little Rock’s Brock Herman was named Pac-12 Wrestler of the Week. This is the fifth time this season a Trojan grappler has won the award, their most in a season since joining the conference, and the fourth different Little Rock wrestler to capture the honor this season, also their most since joining the Pac-12.
Ranked #27 at 149 pounds by FloWrestling, Herman earned an impressive sudden victory win Saturday during a dual against Missouri, taking down #19 Josh Edmond. The Ohio State transfer shot for the takedown early in the OT period to avenge a November loss against Edmond during the National Duals Invitational. Herman (8-3 overall) has won six of his last seven matches.
ALSO NOMINATED: CJ Hamblin, Oregon State; Coen Quintana, CSU Bakersfield
