Pac-12 announces volleyball players of the week

Offensive: Kara Bajema, SR, OH, Washington (Lynden, Wash.)
5.50 KPS, .360 Pct., 0.25 APS, 3 SA, 3.13 DPS, 5.9 PPS
• Helped Washington extended its seven-match win streak topping both Arizona (3-1) and Arizona State (3-1).
• Recorded her 15th double-double of the season, tied for second-most in the Conference.
• Posted a team-leading 22 kills against the Wildcats hitting .315 with 14 digs and two service aces.
• Led the match in kills (22) while facing the Sun Devils with a .413 hitting percentage and 11 digs.
•  Named Offensive Player of the Week for the fifth time this season and earns the Huskies’ 73rd all-time weekly award.  

Defensive: Morgan Hentz, SR, LB, Stanford (Lakeside Park, Ky.)
4.57 DPS, 3 SA, 0.57 APS
• Led Stanford to a pair of road wins at No. 16 Utah (3-1) and Colorado (3-0) to clinch at least a share of the 2019 Pac-12 title, the team’s third straight.
• Recorded a team-high 20 digs against the Utes to break the program’s career record (2,167), moving her into fifth place in Pac-12 history.
• Posted a match-high 12 digs and put down three aces versus Colorado while anchoring a Cardinal defense which held the Buffaloes to a -.012 hitting percentage, the lowest by a Stanford opponent this season.
• Had a perfect service reception mark with zero errors on 34 attempts.
• Collects her seventh-career Defensive Player of the Week award, Stanford’s 120th weekly nod.

Freshman: Kamaile Hiapo, FR, LB, Arizona (Mesa, Ariz.)
5.25 DPS, 1.38 APS, 1 SA
• Helped Arizona to a four-set upset over No. 22 Washington State (3-1) last week.
• Recorded a team-leading 24 against the Cougs, her fourth 20-plus-dig match of the season.
• Posted 18 digs in the four-set loss to No. 10 Washington.
• Her 42 digs in the two matches give her 343 digs this season, 28 digs shy of becoming Arizona's all-time freshman leader in digs.
• Earns her second-straight Freshman of the Week award, and Arizona’s sixth all-time freshman of the week honor.
