- Three Pac-12 teams (ARIZONA, OREGON, STANFORD) have advanced to the Sweet 16. It's the fifth consecutive Regional Semifinal round to feature at least three teams from the Conference of Champions.
- The Pac-12 went 8-3 in this year's first two rounds and is 49-9 (.845) on the tournament's opening weekend since 2016.
- At least two Pac-12 teams have advanced to the Elite Eight in each of the past four tournaments:
- 2019 - OREGON, STANFORD
- 2018 - OREGON, OREGON STATE, UCLA
- 2017 - OREGON, STANFORD
- 2016 - OREGON STATE, STANFORD, WASHINGTON
- Seven players were named as region finalists for the 2021 WBCA NCAA Division I Coaches’ All-America, led by ARIZONA’s Aari McDonald, COLORADO’s Mya Hollingshed, OREGON STATE’s Aleah Goodman, STANFORD’s Kiana Williams, UCLA’s Michaela Onyenwere and Charisma Osborne and WASHINGTON STATE’s Charlisse Leger-Walker. The selection committee will choose the 10-member Coaches’ All-America team from the pool of 52 finalists on Saturday, April 3. The Pac-12 has had multiple WBCA All-Americans the past two seasons and at least one WBCA All-American for 19 consecutive years.
- ARIZONA's Aari McDonald is one of four finalists for the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Award for the second consecutive year.
- ARIZONA is making the second Sweet 16 appearance in program history (1998). Head coach Adia Barnes was a senior forward for the Wildcats in 1998 and had a 17-point, 11-rebound double-double in that year's East Region Semifinal against UConn.
- The Wildcats have allowed just 90 combined points this tournament, tied for the second-fewest among Sweet 16 participants (Indiana - 80; Missouri State - 90).
- OREGON is one of six teams to reach the Sweet 16 in four consecutive tournaments along with Baylor, UConn, Louisville, Stanford and South Carolina.
- The Ducks have allowed just 97 combined points through their first two tournament games, the fewest in program history.
- This is STANFORD's 13th-consecutive trip to the Sweet 16. The Cardinal’s 91 Tournament wins are the third-most all-time behind Tennessee’s 126 and UConn’s 123.
- STANFORD has posted a +54 scoring margin in the NCAA Tournament thus far, which is the Cardinal's best though its first two postseason games since 2010, when it was +61.
